Who am I?

I was born in Chennai, India and grew up in Bangalore, India. I have been an athlete since the age of 6. I played tennis for 6 years and wanted to be a professional tennis player. But then I was introduced to golf by my father and grandfather and everything changed. I tried to play tennis and golf at the same time but I was drawn more towards golf and at the age of 12 I decided to put down my tennis racquet and pick up a golf club for good and there was no turning back.

Once I started competing I fell more and more in love with the sport and decided this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I've played all over India and most parts of Asia, but when I played my first big international tournament at the Callaway Juniors World Championship my life changed. I decided I wanted to study at an American university and play college golf, and I did. I played for a year at a junior college in South Carolina and then transferred to a bigger university formerly known as Armstrong State University, now known as Georgia Southern University. Due to the merger between two big universities, and Armstrong State University without an athletic department following the Spring 2017 season, I decided that Spring 2017 would be my last semester as a college golfer. I graduated from university in July 2018. I turned professional soon after and now I have been playing on the Epson Tour for 5 years and Women's All Pro Tour for 3 years. During my off weeks and off season, I work with Backswing Golf Events to help raise money for various charities and also fund my career!
